There is no shortage of foods here in Metro Manila. Being the home capital of the Philippines located in Luzon, it is one of the most densely populated areas in the Philippines, so food choices are plentiful for the population. Metro Manila is a very busy city where poverty exists and has a fast growing economy in the southeastern part of the world. People who live in Metro Manila are a mix of poor, average and wealthy individuals, so everywhere you go there are almost food choices ranging from cheap to expensive, in the streets, Filipino people eat fish balls, squid balls, balot and many more they call it “tusok-tusok” or street foods, which are very affordable for the average people who wants to eat on the go. Some rich individuals prefer expensive food and not all foods are available or affordable amongst the population, because most are not rich, most are average and below so cheap food is almost existent anywhere in Metro Manila. Jollibee is also a known and famous Filipino fast food outlet which is considered by many a favorite among the filipino population and is growing worldwide. Filipino’s love to eat good food, or cheap and good food or for the above average one’s restaurant food. FIlipino’s also love spending their money on tasty, unique and a different kind of approach or food such as foreign foods that is why there are plenty of food hubs here coming from other countries as well. Filipinos or pinoys eat any kind of food, Filipinos also have invented unique foods which most foreigners having filipino friends can taste such as adobo being the number 1 favorite amongst the tourists here in the Philippines. I can say that Metro Manila has really many food outlets to choose from, even food or restaurants businesses are growing fast making their own recipe to sell. Today even cafe’s and coffee shops are becoming a hit, Philippines being a tropical place it is usually hot and the weather here are only sun and rain it does not snow so it is always hot.
